Flying to North Carolina?

The closest airport to Chapel Hill is Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). Most destinations in Chapel Hill are only a 20-30 minute drive from the airport. Most major carriers service RDU, as do nearly all major rental car companies. You'll definitely want to rent a car during your visit. Renting a car in NC is pretty cheap.

Childcare

Childcare services will be provided on-site during the ceremony and during the reception. We're currently exploring some options, and we'll follow up with specifics and details closer to the event. But as of right now, we've found an accredited agency that does background and reference checks on their sitters and bonds them with their insurance agency. Additionally, several of our friends and family who live in the Triangle have said they can help out by providing the names of their own sitters.

As of this writing (1.13.08), there are only five rooms left at Fearrington in our reserve block, so if you plan on staying there, reserve your room now.

Hotel Information

We recommend reserving your room(s) as soon as possible, especially since the 2008 UNC football schedule hasn't been released yet.

Transportation will be provided to and from the following hotels:

(Since the Inn at Fearrington is only a few feet from the wedding facility, you probably won't need transport, but if you do, we can arrange to have your carried to your room.)

At Fearrington Inn and Franklin Hotel, please be sure to mention that you want to reserve a room in the Duby/Carbone block.

There are many other hotels in the area. We've stayed at The Siena Hotel in Chapel Hill before and recommend it. However, they are not taking reservations this far in advance as of this writing.
